EY Better Verses
In 2020 following the loss of George Floyd, people, and businesses alike signaled a call for change for those of Black heritage. I was tasked to art direct a video that amplified the voices of Black colleagues at EY UK&I, whilst echoing EY’s anti-racism commitments. The brief was clear - ‘be honest and humble, let potential talent know we’re not there yet, but we’re working on it.’
This multi-award-winning piece featured real EY talent and boasted a crew comprised of Black or underrepresented minorities - this included hair, make-up crew, wardrobe, and catering, providing a real on-set experience for budding creatives from these groups - an opportunity that I at 16 would have done anything for.
Set in a prestigious British gallery, my idea was to reclaim a space often filled with art ‘borrowed’ from corners of the world whilst presenting EY’s talent as the focal point. Dressed in jewel tones we wanted our talent to feel empowered as they graced the gallery before taking their place on podiums alongside their own photographs.
The reception to this powerful piece saw our audience likening lines in the script (performed by spoken word artist Sophia Thakur) to their own lived experiences.

EY TikTok
In late 2022 I embarked on the challenge of launching a Big 4 consultancy on TikTok in the US. A first for the business in the paid social space.
After sourcing real employees who moonlight as influencers, we created a series of TikTok videos that adopted trending formats showcasing the day-to-day of early career colleagues, employee resource groups within the business, and how exciting it is to be an intern within the business.
The series accumulated over 3,000,000 views of which 76% were gen z and saw 267k clicks through to the careers website.
